The much-anticipated game music orchestra Distant Worlds: The Music From Final Fantasy is playing at the Orpheum Theatre on November 15th in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
As the official musical symphony for Square Enix’s flagship game series Final Fantasy, Distant World delivers the adored songs with utmost quality and the best artists. Directed by world renounced music director Arnie Roth, the orchestra will play scores composed by Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, Naoshi Mizuta, Hitoshi Sakimoto, and Kumi Tanioka, as well as music from the spin-off series.

On November 15th you can hear the amazing scores from the whole series, live, thanks to Distant Worlds: The Music From Final Fantasy. The orchestra will be held at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The Final Fantasy series is a role-playing game by Square Enix. The first Final Fantasy game was released in 1986 in Japan and 1990 in America. In the following years, the series’ success, Final Fantasy became Square Enix’s flagship game and it is one of the most popular RPG games of all time. The Final Fantasy games have a variety of music, such as the opening score “Prelude,” which has evolved into an epic and complex piece of music throughout the years. Other themes include songs for victories and individual characters. The primary composer of the game was Nobuo Uematsu until his resignation in 2004. Since then, other notable composers have worked on the series’ music, such as Masashi Hamauzu, Hitoshi Sakimoto, and Yoko Shimomura.
Distant Worlds: music from Final Fantasy is the official symphonic live music experience for the Final Fantasy game franchise, presented by AWR Music Productions. The concert gives life to the legendary scores by some of the most notable composers such as Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, Naoshi Mizuta, Hitoshi Sakimoto, Yoko Shimomura, Masayoshi Soken and many others. Directed by Maestro Arnie Roth, the live concert provides a premium multimedia experience with orchestra, choir and soloists. The first Distant World tour began in December 2007 in Stockholm, Sweden and touring the world to date. The success and achievements of Distant World have played a key role in Final Fantasy’s music as its own entity.
