With a set of international shows across North America, Latin America, and Europe on the list, they sure are ready for the "WRLD".
The Rose is known fort their diverse soundscapes. We've seen it in their emotive hits "She's In The Rain", "Sour", "Time", and "Sorry". The band also unleashed heart-pumping rock energy on "Back To Me", the band has taken listeners by surprise in every release. According to Transparent Arts, their new mini-album will highlight the band's unique sonic universe, showcasing soul-striking stories in every track.
"The EP, featuring various musical genres, encapsulates The Rose’s dreams, challenges and growth, pushing the envelope," the agency shared, as cited from Korea JoongAng Daily.
From busking in Hongdae to posting covers on YouTube, the band went on to work on their music in each step of the way, until debuting with their mainstream single "Sorry" in 2017. Billboard hailed the track as one of the best pop Korean tracks of 2017, gaining traction with an international audience. A fresh offering amidst a sea of K-Pop acts The Rose proved to be the next big thing with their rock-infused sound.
In 2022, the band released their first full-length album "HEAL", sharing stories of healing through heartbreak. It debuted on the Billboard Heatseekers chart at #4, and the band kicked off a massive tour seen by over 90,000 people around the globe. They were also the first South Korean band to head up the Coachella Stage in 2024.
Their follow-up LP "DUAL" ushered in new energies, showcasing two sides of their colorful selves, exemplified by angst on "Back To Me", and a heartwarming embrace on "You're Beautiful". All in all, the record stays true to heart, whatever emotion one might feel. It marked a milestone in the band's career as the album entered the Billboard 200 chart.
Kicking off their latest comeback, The Rose is set to share courage, spreading the word that you can keep dreaming on. Seems like the album is offering a warm embrace & a sense of closure through their signature melodies. Showcasing growth, they take new realizations into song.
From being told that their music won't make it big, they've proved the naysayers in the industry otherwise. "Bands like us aren’t always viewed as being able to be successful," Dojoon shared with Rolling Stone. "We believed in ourselves and our sound. And we didn’t want to receive songs from other people," added Woosung. Recalling a time when a writer said "Sorry" wasn't fit to be a hit because it's sad and slow, the band proved them wrong.
Get ready for a new "WRLD" taking over as The Rose hits the skies for their huge comeback. Don't miss out by booking your tickets now!
